Fused Materials

Fused Chrome Corundum

Product Description

Fused Chrome Corundum is produced by melting high-purity alumina and chromium oxide in an electric arc furnace at high temperatures. The material exhibits high hardness, excellent wear resistance, and strong corrosion resistance.

It is widely used in the production of advanced refractories and abrasives, offering superior performance in demanding high-temperature and corrosive environments.

Main Applications

  • High-performance refractory bricks and castables
  • Slide gate plates and nozzles in steelmaking
  • Abrasive materials for polishing and grinding
  • Wear-resistant coatings and ceramic components
